A marriage license – Form
C should be applied for from the Registrar of Oaths at the Civic Center, six
weeks before the proposed wedding date.
In accordance with Council resolution under Minute Number C/38/10/10, the under listed fees and charges have been revised effective 1 January, 2011.

should be submitted to the office two (2) weeks before the wedding date. A
penalty of Ten Thousand Kwacha (K 10,000) will be charged should the license be submitted to the
church office later than the deadline stated above.
